ACCELERATOR PEDAL REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD

    Note:

    This accelerator pedal rod does not require lubrication.

    Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal rod.

    If applied, the accelerator pedal rod must be replaced.

      Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal rod.

      Note:

      • Avoid physical shocks to the accelerator pedal rod.

      • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal rod.
