  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A fuel pressure sensor is installed to both the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly (for direct injection) and the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly (for port injection).

    2. The fuel pressure sensor consists of a semiconductor which utilizes the characteristics of a silicon chip that changes its electrical resistance when pressure is applied to it. The sensor converts the fuel pressure into an electrical signal, and sends it to the ECM assembly in an amplified form.
