DESCRIPTION

While depressing the clutch pedal, the No. 2 clutch pedal switch assembly sends a signal to terminal (D) of the ECM. The ECM cancels speed limiter control when terminal (D) receives the signal.

  1. INSPECT NO. 2 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Inspect the No. 2 clutch pedal switch assembly.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

    1. Disconnect the A18 No. 2 clutch pedal switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - NO. 2 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the A18 No. 2 clutch pedal switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the A34 ECM connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
