OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 16 "TORX" bolts and stator shaft assembly from the front oil pump and gear body sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Keep the gears in the order of installation.

  3. INSPECT CLEARANCE OF FRONT OIL PUMP BODY AND GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

      Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR

    1. C138277

      Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

    1. C138278

      Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL

    1. C138508N01

      Secure the front oil pump body sub-assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note:

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    2. Using SST, remove the front oil pump oil seal from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  8. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY
