FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for Hatchback RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Package Tray Trim)

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

13. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

15. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

16. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side)

17. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

18. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH

    Tip:

19. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Tip:

20. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

21. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

22. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

23. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

24. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

25. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

26. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

28. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM HOOK

29. REMOVE LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/ Deck Board)

30. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

31. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Woofer)

32. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. 

       Remove the screw.

    2. 

       Disengage the guide and disconnect the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. 

       Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly and remove the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly.

33. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)

    1. 

       Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.

    2. 

       Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. 

       Remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

34. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

    1. 

       Disengage the 3 clamps.

       Tip:

       Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    2. 

       Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    3. Turn back the floor carpet so that the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly can be removed.

    4. Disengage the 11 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.
