DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates an abnormality in the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

When both of the following conditions are met:


  • STP signals input to the hybrid vehicle control ECU supervisory CPU and control ECU are different for 0.15 seconds or more

  • 0.4 seconds have passed after cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the hybrid vehicle control ECU

Tech Tips

The hybrid vehicle control ECU receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function activates and remains on until the power switch is turned off.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (DTC P0575)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    5. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.


      1. Drive at a speed of between approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) and 200 km/h (125 mph).

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the ON-OFF switch.

      3. Push the -/SET switch to activate the cruise control.

    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.

    7. Check for DTCs.
