    Component Function
    Multi-display Assembly*1 Displays image information received from the radio receiver assembly.
    Accessory Meter Assembly*2
    Lexus Display Audio Controller (Remote Operation Board)*3 Sends operation signals to the radio receiver assembly.
    Remote Touch*4
    • Sends operation signals to the radio receiver assembly.

    • Provides feedback force to the remote touch knob according to signals received from the radio receiver assembly.

    Radio Receiver Assembly
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Sends image information such as the audio source screen and setting screen to the multi-display assembly*1 or accessory meter assembly*2.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers or stereo component amplifier assembly.

    • Enables recording of an audio CD to hard disk drive while currently being played.*5

    • Sends status information of each audio source to the combination meter assembly or combination meter mirror ECU*6.

    • Sends call information of a phone call received on a user's cellular phone connected via Bluetooth, to the combination meter assembly.

    • Receives audio signals from the multi-display controller sub-assembly and outputs them to the stereo component amplifier assembly.*7

    • Allows turning the rear seat entertainment system on/off from the front seat using the adjustment screen.*7

    Hard Disk Drive*5 Built into the radio receiver assembly, records and saves data from an audio CD currently being played.

    • Receives radio broadcasting signals (AM/FM main).

    • Amplifies radio broadcasting signals from the radio antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly.

    Window Glass Antenna Wire

    Receives radio broadcasting signals (FM-sub).
    No. 1 Amplifier Antenna Assembly Amplifies radio broadcasting signals from the radio antenna and sends them to the radio receiver assembly.
    Steering Pad Switch Assembly Sends operation signals from switches such as the volume switch, mode switch, seek switch, telephone switch and voice switch, to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
    Spiral Cable with Sensor Sub-assembly Sends operation signals from the steering pad switch assembly to the radio receiver assembly.
    No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly
    • Sends audio signal to the radio receiver assembly when an auxiliary device is connected.*10

    • Sends audio and/or video signals to the radio receiver assembly when an auxiliary device is connected.*11

    • Communicates with the radio receiver assembly via a USB communication line when a USB memory device, portable audio player (USB type) or Apple product is connected.

    Map Light Assembly Houses the manual (SOS) switch.*12
    Telephone Microphone Assembly Recognizes speech during voice recognition system operation and sends the audio signal to the radio receiver assembly*13 or telematics transceiver (data communication module)*14.
    Combination Meter Assembly
    • Sends vehicle speed signals to the radio receiver assembly, stereo component amplifier assembly and telematics transceiver (data communication module)*15.

    • Displays information such as audio status information received from the radio receiver assembly on the multi-information display.

    • Sends operation signals to the radio receiver assembly when the audio system is operated via the multi-information display.

    • Displays call information, sent from the radio receiver assembly, of a phone call received on a user's cellular phone.

    Combination Meter Mirror ECU*6 Receives audio source status information from the radio receiver assembly and displays the audio source status on the headup display.
    Multi-display Controller Sub-assembly*7
    • Receives audio source signals such as DVD, Bluetooth audio and USB audio from the radio receiver assembly and controls the rear seat entertainment system.

    • Sends request signals to change the settings of the rear seat entertainment system, such as volume control and audio source, to the radio receiver assembly.

    Stereo Component Amplifier Assembly Amplifies audio signals sent from the radio receiver assembly and sends them to the speakers.
    Telematics Transceiver (Data Communication Module)*14*15
    • Sends a part of audio signals sent from the radio receiver assembly to the speakers.

    • Sends microphone voice signals sent from the telephone microphone assembly to the radio receiver assembly.

    Rear Seat Entertainment System
    Component Function
    Television Display Assembly
    • Displays DVD output images, video CD output images, video output images and radio (AM/FM) operation screens.

    • Receives signals from the remote control (television switch and volume assembly).

    Television Switch and Volume Assembly Outputs various control signals for the rear seat entertainment system to the television display assembly in the form of infrared signals.
    HDMI Terminal The HDMI terminal is used for connecting an auxiliary player.
    Headphone Terminal (LH Side) Outputs the audio source sound of the television display assembly (LH side) to the connected headphones.
    Headphone Terminal (RH Side) Outputs the audio source sound of the television display assembly (RH side) to the connected headphones.
