AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR(w/o Glow Plug Controller) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER BRACKET (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

      Remove the 2 nuts and No. 2 engine cover bracket.

  4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      w/ No. 1 Engine Cover

      1. Disconnect the connector from the air fuel ratio sensor.

      2. Disengage the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.

      3. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket.

      w/o No. 1 Engine Cover

      1. Remove the nut.

      2. Disconnect the connector from the air fuel ratio sensor.

      3. Disengage the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.

      4. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket.

  5. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly.

      Note:

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.
