VACUUM REGULATING VALVE (w/ EGR Cooler) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts, 2 nuts and engine cover.

  3. REMOVE GAS FILTER


    1. A01E1KY

      Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses.

    2. Remove the bolt and gas filter with the gas filter bracket.

  4. REMOVE ELECTRIC VACUUM REGULATING VALVE


    1. A01DYM6

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01DZT9

      Disconnect the 4 vacuum hoses.

    3. A01DWTM

      Remove the 2 bolts and electric vacuum regulating valve.

      Note

      Do not remove the electric vacuum regulating valve.
