BACK DOOR LOCK REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER

      Remove the 4 clips.

      Disengage the 4 clips and 2 claws and remove the rear deck trim cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 2 bolts and back window lock assembly.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER RETAINER

      Remove the 2 bolts.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the back door lock cylinder retainer as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

      Remove the back door lock cylinder assembly as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY (w/ Wireless Door Lock System)

      Disengage the pin and remove the back door lock opener assembly as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Wireless Door Lock System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the back door lock actuator assembly.

  9. REMOVE GLASS HATCH LOCK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Entry and Start System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the glass hatch lock switch assembly as shown in the illustration.
