DESCRIPTION

When the combination switch assembly (ECO mode switch) is turned on, the air conditioning amplifier assembly receives an combination switch assembly (ECO mode switch) ON signal and controls the air conditioning to enhance fuel efficiency.

PROCEDURE

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

    5. Check the values by referring to the table below.

  2. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (ECO MODE SWITCH)

    1. Remove the combination switch assembly (ECO mode switch).

    2. Inspect the combination switch assembly (ECO mode switch).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY [ECO MODE SWITCH] - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the G80 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G60*1 or G185*2 combination switch assembly (ECO mode switch) connector.

      • *1: w/o Stop and Start System

      • *2: w/ Stop and Start System

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
