Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the light control rheostat.

  2. INSTALL SWITCH BASE


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the switch base.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)


    1. Connect each connector.

      *1 Aspirator Hose

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System for RHD:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the guide and connect the aspirator hose.

    3. Engage the 4 claws.

    4. Engage the 4 clips to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

    5. Install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Engage the 2 claws.

    3. Engage the 6 clips to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

    4. Install the screw.
