PROCEDURE
INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

Check the LO operation.
Connect a auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E), and check that the motor operates at low speed.

Check the HI operation.
Connect a auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 4 (+2) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E), and check that the motor operates at high speed.

| Motor operates at high speed (HI). |
If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor assembly.
INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

Check the LO operation.
Connect an auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E), and check that the motor operates at low speed.

Check the HI operation.
Connect an auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 5 (+2) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E), and check that the motor operates at high speed.

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor assembly.
