ROOF HEADLINING REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER STOPPER

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for both tonneau cover stoppers.

   1. 

      Install the tonneau cover stopper with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER STOPPER SILENCER (w/ Silencer)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for both tonneau cover stopper silencers.

   1. 

      Install a new tonneau cover stopper silencer in the location shown in the illustration using double-sided tape.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE

   1. w/o Sliding Roof:

      1. Apply new double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

         

         *a	1 mm (0.0394 in.)	*b	15 mm (0.590 in.)
         	Double-sided Tape	-	-

      2. Attach the No. 1 roof wire to the double-sided tape.

      3. Apply new one-sided tape.

      4. Turn the 2 connectors approximately 90° counter clockwise to connect them.

      5. If any slack forms, take up the slack in the areas A shown in the illustration.

         Note:

         Secure any wire that protrudes from the double-sided tape with one-sided tape.

      6. Check that the No. 1 roof wire is not twisted, raised, or protruding in any way.

   2. w/ Sliding Roof:

      1. Apply new double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

         

         *a	1 mm (0.0394 in.)	*b	15 mm (0.590 in.)
         	Double-sided Tape	-	-

      2. Attach the No. 1 roof wire to the double-sided tape.

      3. Apply new one-sided tape.

      4. Turn the 2 connectors approximately 90° counter clockwise to connect them.

      5. If any slack forms, take up the slack in the areas A shown in the illustration.

         Note:

         Secure any wire that protrudes from the double-sided tape with one-sided tape.

      6. Check that the No. 1 roof wire is not twisted, raised, or protruding in any way.

5. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   1. Attach the claw to install the vanity light assembly LH.

   2. Attach the 2 claws to connect the bulb holder to the vanity light assembly LH.

6. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING PAD (for Cold Area)

   1. 

      Silencer Marking

      Install a new No. 2 roof headlining pad using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.

8. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (for Cold Area)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for both roof headlining pads.

   1. 

      Silencer Marking

      Install a new roof headlining pad using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.

9. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD

   1. 

      Silencer Marking

      Install a new No. 3 roof silencer pad using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

    1. Install a new No. 1 roof silencer pad using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.

11. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/ Sliding Roof)

    1. 

       Silencer Marking

       Install a new No. 2 roof silencer pad using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.

12. INSTALL CENTER ROOF HEADLINING PAD

    1. Install a new center roof headlining pads using double-sided tape, hot-melt glue or adhesive as shown in the illustration.
