REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT SOCKET

      Component without harness connected

      (Back-up Light Socket)

      Disconnect the rear light assembly connector (for Front Passenger Side).

    2. Apply battery voltage to the back-up light socket and check that the light comes on.

      OK

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      The back-up light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the back-up light socket.

  2. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT SOCKET

    1. E136359C03

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Fog Light Socket)

      Disconnect the rear light assembly connector (for Driver Side).

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear fog light socket and check that the light comes on.

      OK

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      The rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the rear fog light socket.
