POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  3. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU (for Type A)

    1. Remove the glove compartment door sub-assembly (Click here).

    2. Remove the glove compartment door assembly (Click here).

      Disconnect each connector.

    4. Remove the screw and power management control ECU.

  4. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU (for Type B, for Type C, for Type D)

    1. Remove the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly (Click here).

    2. Remove the lower instrument panel sub-assembly (Click here).

      Disconnect each connector.

    4. Remove the 2 screws, bolt and ECU integration box RH.

    5. Detach the 2 claws and remove the power management control ECU from the ECU integration box RH.
