FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper side support.

    2. Install the bolt and screw.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both front bumper mounting brackets.


    1. Install the front bumper mounting bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      67 N*m  { 683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper reinforcement extension.

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    1. Install the engine side cover with the 3 bolts and 2 clips.

  12. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (except 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    1. Install the engine under cover with the 5 bolts and 4 clips.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. w/ Fog Light:

      Connect the 2 fog light connectors.

    2. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Connect the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose.

    3. Attach the 6 claws to install the front bumper cover.

    4. Install the 5 clips, 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    5. Install the 3 clips and 6 screws.

  15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the radiator grille.

    2. Install the 2 screws and 2 clips.

  16. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING (w/ Fog Light)
