GENERATOR(for 130 A Type) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:
    • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click hereClick hereClick here).

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click hereClick hereClick hereClick here).

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the radiator assembly (Click hereClick here).

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

  7. DISCONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.

    2. A163289

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the vane pump.

  8. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A230309

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 return tube bracket.

    2. A230310

      Disconnect the generator connector.

    3. Remove the terminal cap.

    4. Remove the nut and disconnect the generator wire.

    5. Detach the generator wire.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness bracket from the generator.

    7. A231164

      Remove the 3 bolts, nut and generator.
