DESCRIPTION

The forward recognition camera receives a lane departure alert main switch signal from the lane departure alert main switch.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH


    1. Remove the lane departure alert main switch.

      Click here

    2. Inspect the lane departure alert main switch.

      Click here

    REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH Click here

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH - FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G124 lane departure alert main switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the Q4 forward recognition camera connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G124-6 (ECU) - Q4-3 (LKSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      G124-6 (ECU) or Q4-3 (LKSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G124-3 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
