BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The following brake control functions are provided: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), brake assist, Traction Control (TRC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-start Assist Control.

    2. A VSC OFF switch (pattern select switch assembly) is used.

    3. TRACK switch (pattern select switch assembly) is used.

    4. If TRACK mode is selected, the timing of VSC control intervention is delayed and the amount of control is reduced. This increases the control range of the driver and enables sportier driving compared to Normal mode.

    5. An emergency brake signal is used. This signal is provided to indicate that strong braking is being performed by the driver.*
