HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR


    1. A004K8KE05

      Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor onto the exhaust manifold assembly.

      Torque:
      without SST
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }
      with SST
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips


      • This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).

      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.087 in.).

      • If using a torque wrench with a different length, or connecting the torque wrench and SST at an angle, refer to the alternate torque values Click here

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.

  2. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

  3. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH


    1. Instal the 3 clips, and connect the engine under cover rear RH.

    2. Install the brake hose bracket mounting bolt.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  5. INSTALL FRONT TIRE
