STARTER REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the starter connector.

    2. Remove the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut, and disconnect the terminal 30 wire.

    4. A01E10K

      Remove the nut, 2 bolts and stay.

    5. Remove the nut, 2 bolts and starter.
