PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note:

   After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

4. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

    Tip:

    When removing the rear door outside stripe, heat the rear door panel and rear door outside stripe using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item	Temperature
    Rear Door Panel	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Rear Door Outside Stripe	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the rear door panel or rear door outside stripe excessively.

    1. 

       Pull back an edge of the rear door outside stripe and pull it parallel to the rear door panel to remove it.

17. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE STRIPE LH

    Tip:

    When removing the rear door lower outside stripe, heat the rear door panel and rear door lower outside stripe using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item	Temperature
    Rear Door Panel	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Rear Door Lower Outside Stripe	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the rear door panel or rear door lower outside stripe excessively.
