ROOF HEADLINING DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD

   1. w/o Sliding Roof:

      1. Remove the 5 No. 1 roof silencer pads.

         

   2. w/ Sliding Roof:

      1. 

         Remove the 2 No. 1 roof silencer pads.

2. REMOVE NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD

   1. 

      Remove the No. 3 roof silencer pad.

3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Sliding Roof, for Cold Area)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for both roof headlining pads.

   1. 

      Remove the roof headlining pad.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Sliding Roof, for Cold Area)

   1. 

      Remove the No. 2 roof headlining pad.

5. REMOVE CENTER ROOF HEADLINING PAD

   1. 

      *a	for Type A
      *b	for Type B

      Remove the 2 center roof headlining pads.

6. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   1. 

      *a	Bulb Holder

      Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the bulb holder from the vanity light assembly LH.

   2. Detach the claw and remove the vanity light assembly LH.

7. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

8. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE

   1. w/o Sliding Roof:

      1. Turn the 2 connectors approximately 90° clockwise and disconnect them.

      2. Remove the one-sided tape.

      3. Remove the remaining No. 1 roof wire from the double-sided tape.

      4. Remove the remaining double-sided tape.

         

         *A	w/ EC Mirror, w/o Pre-crash Safety System	*B	w/ EC Mirror, w/ Pre-crash Safety System
         *C	w/ Rain Sensor, w/o Pre-crash Safety System	*D	w/ Rain Sensor, w/ Pre-crash Safety System
         *E	w/ Pre-crash Safety System	*F	w/ Camera Heater
         *a	90°	-	-
         	One-sided Tape	-	-

   2. w/ Sliding Roof:

      1. Turn the 2 connectors approximately 90° clockwise and disconnect them.

      2. Remove the one-sided tape.

      3. Remove the remaining No. 1 roof wire from the double-sided tape.

      4. Remove the remaining double-sided tape.

         

         *A	w/ EC Mirror, w/o Pre-crash Safety System	*B	w/ EC Mirror, w/ Pre-crash Safety System
         *C	w/ Rain Sensor, w/o Pre-crash Safety System	*D	w/ Rain Sensor, w/ Pre-crash Safety System
         *E	w/ Pre-crash Safety System	*F	w/ Camera Heater
         *a	90°	-	-
         	One-sided Tape	-	-

9. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER STOPPER SILENCER (w/ Silencer)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure for both tonneau cover stopper silencers.

    1. 

       Remove the tonneau cover stopper silencer.

11. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER STOPPER

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure for both tonneau cover stoppers.

    1. 

       Remove the 2 screws and tonneau cover stopper.
