CHECK VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER
Disconnect the L130 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
| Terminal No. (Symbol) | Wiring Color | Terminal Description | Condition | Specified Condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L130-1 (IG) - Body ground | BE - Body ground | IG power supply | Power switch on (IG) | 11 to 14 V |
| Power switch off | Below 1 V |
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
| Terminal No. (Symbol) | Wiring Color | Terminal Description | Condition | Specified Condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L130-7 (GND) - Body ground | W-B - Body ground | Ground | Always | Below 1 Ω |

Tech Tips
When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses. As the vehicle speed increases, the width indicated by (A) in the illustration narrows.
