RADIATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the radiator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the 2 lower radiator supports.

    3. Install the radiator assembly with the fan shroud.

      Note

      Do not apply any excessive force to the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant), cooler condenser assembly or pipe when installing the radiator assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN SHROUD


    1. Install the No. 2 fan shroud with the 2 bolts and 2 claws.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 5 inverter cooling hose and 4 clamps to the fan shroud.

    3. Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and 4 clamps to the No. 2 fan shroud.

    4. Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly.

    5. Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly.

  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE

  4. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the hood lock support sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator support RH and radiator support LH.

    3. Install the radiator support RH and radiator support LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the 2 connectors.

    5. Connect the 2 clamps and 2 connectors.

    6. w/o Engine hood courtesy switch:


      1. Connect the hood lock control cable wire and clamp.

    7. w/ Engine hood courtesy switch:


      1. Connect the engine hood courtesy switch connector and clamp.

      2. Connect the hood lock control cable wire and clamp.

    8. Connect the clamp to the radiator support RH.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 INVERTER BRACKET

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR BRACKET (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  9. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  11. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.

  12. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.

  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  14. ADD COOLANT (for Engine)

  15. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine)

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  17. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  18. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

  19. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD
